PARTNERSHIPS

Organic partnerships are very important to me. In particular, partnerships that are aligned with my ethics. I have a strong commitment to inspire my food-obsessed community; to discover and eat thoughtfully.

If you have an interesting project and are seeking to collaborate, I would love to hear from you.

Keith Belling

Founder

Whole Foods Market has worked with Chef Tu this past year. We are extremely proud to have Chef Tu as one of our Whole Foods Market Ambassadors. Chef Tu’s approach to focus on the freshest and best ingredients, while blending his Asian heritage flavors, is what attracted us to him. Once Chef Tu started working with our culinary team, it was effortless. Most recently, Chef Tu was part of the “Art of Grilling” program, where he created a Vietnamese Lemongrass Sausage to sell in our meat counter. Needless to say, the Vietnamese Lemongrass Sausage flew out of our stores and were a huge success! We look forward to our continued partnership with Chef Tu.
Bright, talented, knowledgeable, and so creative with Asian cuisine flavors. He’s a natural fit to help us innovate and share RightRice. Chef Tu is so easy (and fun) to work with, he quickly became a favorite among our marketing team. We can’t wait for our next collaboration.

Hodo has worked with Chef Tu for many years, from his time at Gather restaurant to his popular pop-ups in the Bay Area before Chef Tu launched his consulting and TV careers. Over the years, we have had the privilege of seeing Chef Tu hone his culinary vision, bringing to his fans and TV audience a refreshing approach to cooking. His food combines a passion of local ingredients, a deft touch of flavors, and a love of bring joy to every table. David Bordow

Product & Design Executive

It was a pleasure working with Chef Tu to design our Tumami burger at Creator. His extensive knowledge of flavors and food science was invaluable as we endeavored to perfect and scale recipes. Tu was also an instant fit with our interdisciplinary team of engineers, fabricators, and cooks, going out of his way to help our teams understand the physics sauces. The Tumami Burger became an instant hit. We’re proud to have worked with him on it and look forward to future collaborations.

VP, Developement & Production

The only thing better than working with Chef Tu David Phu is getting to sit down and enjoy a meal prepared by him. For those of us at Intersport, we’re proud to say we undertook and enjoy both experiences to the fullest. Chef Tu became an instrumental and indispensable resource in the production of Taste Buds: Chefsgiving both in front of the camera and behind the scenes. His enthusiasm knows no bounds and his willingness to lend a hand in helping us cast the show and refine the idea truly aided us in producing a successful program that aired on ABC. We are already seeking new projects to work on with Chef Tu and can’t wait to see the results.

Chef Tu has been a contributing chef on ChefsFeed for the last two years. In that time he has collaborated with us in several significant ways, from an appearance in My Hood espousing the best spots in Oakland, to working on an innovative brand campaign with us and our partners at Morton Salt. He’s consistently been a collaborative, enthusiastic, and supportive contributor to ChefsFeed both in our aforementioned video work, in social media campaigns, and events. We’re happy he’s part of the ChefsFeed family and look forward to his further contributions.

Melody Hom

VP, Senior Private Banker

What can I say about Chef Tu that hasn’t been said by many others! I’ve had the pleasure of eating at many events where he has cooked the most creative meals. The bank where I work hired him to create a 6 course dinner cooked outside in the “alley” and served inside a branch. That was the beginning of a wonderful Friendship and a Fan for life. We have since collaborated with the Chef with other by “invitation only” events throughout the Bay Area. I love bragging about him and sharing him with others who have not have the good fortune of tasting his fabulous meals.
Chef Tu’s enthusiasm and approach to cooking and eating is contagious because he is SO passionate about telling a story with his dishes. He is the ultimate Professional but so personable with his audience.
